Today marks the anniversary of several things, and the beginning of some too. One year ago today I started working for my current employer, and I still love the job, the benefits, and the people I work with. One year ago this week I started making handmade soap, and the peace and joy I find in its creation increases daily. 3 months ago today I started working on the blog itself, getting it ready to hold my thoughts, my records and notes, and struggling with html to get it just how I want it (this is still an ongoing work in progress!) It was in the spring 10 years ago that I decided I wanted to make a career out of manufacturing perfumes and scented balms from custom blended essential oil... over the years that aspiration has expanded to include bath and body products as well (yes, I've spent 10 years researching and planning!).
And today I finally begin to blog about my adventures, my finds, my successes and failures.
